All other weeks this summer is Monday-Thursdays from 11-1
Girls workout seperate from guys. You will make some MAJOR gains in strength and power and your speed and agility if you commit to attend. We need to get serious as athletes, especially if we have plans to go far this year. :D

UPDATE...MORE INFO
So here we are on Graduation day 2012...losing one of our dear ones, Ashley! We will ALL miss you so much! Hope you come back and practice with us and watch the games next year!
On a good note, we are gaining some young ones (new fishy) moving up to 9th grade and one new comer in 10th. These girls have already come out and been working with us in off-season to prepare for the upcoming season...Alex Lord, Nikki Morris, Jordan Rogers, Elizabeth Lampe and Ruthie Mudgett.

Our BBALL camp is coming up at the end of June so don't forget to sign up...

BASKETBALL CAMPS FOR THIS SUMMER!!
CAMP TIME!!
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up about upcoming camps for this summer. I have not yet heard when our Lady Broncos camp will be scheduled but I wanted to keep everyone up to date on the camp information I have so far....
PGC CAMP (Point Guard College) : These camps are AWESOME!! These camps last for 5 days and include skills/drills as well as classroom hours of game strategies, etc. These camps are NOT just for point guards. WEBSITE IS PGCBASKETBALL.COM You can go look up all the info but I HIGHLY recommend this camp...went to one last year and it was fantastic. For Texas this year they are hold at Texas Women's University in Denton and St. Mary's in San Antonio...different dates depending on which camp you sign up for. The reason I am saying something now about this camp is because you will receive a discount if you register before March 15th ($50 off)...I thought if quite a few of us wanted to go together, then we could all travel and get hotel rooms and go for the week. I for sure will be attending one of their camps again but I am basing my choice on which week the girls chose to go. Please go on-line and look up all the information. Email or call me if you have any questions. :D
I have information for UHouston Bball camps. June 17th is Shooting camp ($50); Indiv. Day Camp is June 25-28 or August 6-9 ($125); Team Camp is June 22-24 ($50 per player); Elite Camp is August 4th ($50). Website is http://www.houstoncougarbasketballcamps.com/ if you are interested.
I also have information on Don Eddy Basketball Camps. These are VERY good camps with big emphasis on skills and Christian atmosphere. This year the camps are at Lutheran South July 23-27th for $195. Website is http://www.debb.com/
Here is information for Texas A&M basketball camps. Position camp: June 3-5; June 18-20 (resident camp $275); Individual camp June 5-8 (resident $385). Team Camp June 29-July 1 (resident camp $185). For more information http://www.aggiebasketballcamp.com/

!!!! CHANGE OF PLANS!!! NO GAME ON FRIDAY, JAN 27TH!!!
GOOD AFTERNOON!! :D
Just wanted to update everyone on the recent change of events. There was a miscommunication about game dates so we are not playing at Pasadena First Baptist this Friday night (1/27). Our away game with them has been postponed until Feb 9th at 6pm. If you have any questions you can always holler at me. :)
This changes our practice schedule just a little. We WILL be practicing on Friday morning (1/27) at 6:30 am. We will NOT have practice on Saturday (1/28) due to the Jr. High conference basketball tournament being hosted at BAC. So the girls will get TWO rest days off in a row. haha! I will make sure the next few weeks as we approach playoffs that we squeeze some extra rest in there for them from time to time.

DISTRICT IS HERE!!
We are kicking off our district play on Friday night against Galveston O'Connell AT O'Connell at 6PM!! We will be leaving on the bus at 4:15 so we can arrive by 5:15 with plenty of time to warm up. I'm sure the food is all taken care for the game as well.
As often as possible, check out the sports section in the Galveston County Daily News because we frequently make the paper either in power rankings or post game scores and highlights.
Hope you are enjoying this season so far! I know I am having fun and excited as we move forward into district play.

Happy New Year!!
HERE WE GO 2012!! Ready or not, here come the Lady Broncos!
Parents, hope you all had a wonderful Christmas holiday and were able to spend valuable time with family and loved ones. We enjoyed playing in our two tournaments on the break and gained some valuable experience in both.
I have given the girls a January practice calendar and one should show up on our site here soon so hang on...lots going on around here. No games for us this week and district kicks off on January 20 against O'Connell, so crunch time is upon us.
Just a heads up for you, Our Jan. 24th game will be Teacher Appreciation Night during half time of our game. Then Jan. 31st will be our night we host Breast Cancer Awareness Night. We will wear some pink and take up a collection at the door for funds to be send to the Susan B Koman Foundation. Our last memorable night will be Senior Night which will be our last district game at home on Feb 7th against Pasadena. We will honor our one senior, Ashley Bates and her family at half time.
Lots of good things heading our way. Also don't forget to keep an eye out for us in the Galveston County News. I just happened to read the paper this morning and found us in the power rankings column of girls teams in this area. Kinda cool. :)

It's Christmas Holiday Season!
Ho! Ho! HO!!! Merry Christmas!!
We had a weekend with some close games which was some good experience for us and saw some potential playoff opponents as well. Thanks parents for coming out and supporting the girls and a special thanks to Mr. Bates for driving us today!! Much appreciated!
We have practice on Monday and Tuesday at 8am so don't forget!! Enjoy your day off tomorrow and then we are back at it on Monday. We also have the O'Connell Tournament the following week...more info. to follow soon.
What a wonderful group of young ladies! So happy to work with them and we are having a blast this season! We had fun this weekend! I pray each of you and your families have a Merry Christmas full of Christ...love, joy, family and memories! Stay safe and we will see you all soon!
